This Blu-ray Disc edition has been mastered from the 35mm restoration print prepared by the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Murnau-Stiftung, and reveals an excellent video transfer from an excellent 35mm source print.

The film is presented with a lively music score by Aljoscha Zimmermann.

Supplementary material includes a presentation of Meyer from Berlin (1919), and audio commentary for both films by author Joseph McBride.

As yet sight unseen, this is our recommended home video edition of the film.

North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
