Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Willie loves Sallie, the maid, but his mother objects, threatening to disinherit him. The young people are married quietly and decide to keep the matter a secret. A year passes and a baby comes to be another secret. They place it in charge of a caretaker. Willie has come to live with his newly-married sister, Stella, and has secured employment in the house for Sallie as maid. The mother at last “hooks” a desirable widower and comes to visit her son and daughter and the son-in-law, Jack Gay. The mother-in-law decides she doesn’t approve of Jack and believes him unfaithful to Stella. This suspicion is aroused by a letter from the caretaker to Sallie, saying that the baby must be taken away as she can no longer look after it. Hubby, learning of mother-in-law’s hatred of pianos, decides to buy one, give it to his wife as a present and so drive the woman out. Complications pile upon complications until at last the whole family is gathered in the shed, where both piano and baby have been hidden. The baby finally reconciles all the warring members of the family.
